This block challenge was held on an Alaskan quilting cruise August 20-27, 2006. We were to incorporate the Twelve Days of Christmas fabric designed by one of our guest passengers, Jim Shore. The "symbols" were appliqued onto the paper-pieced star points. Although they do not appear overwhelmingly spectacular, they took an extremely long period of time to size and applique. This is the cruise on which I gave a gift wrapping demonstration. (see links above)
