Precious Moments paper detail. The outlines of the figures were fused to typing paper twice, making a stiff backing for the detail to be added (built) on the top.Using cuticle scissors and tweezers, component parts (eyes, hair, garments, etc.) were cut out and added to the cardboard backing, the layers being separated by clear tub caulking. All edges were then treated with brown water color for softening. Music is "Silent Night."

This is a very special gift
That you can never see
The reason it's so special is
It's just for you from me

Whenever you are lonely
Or even feeling blue
You only have to hold this gift
And know I think of you

You never can unwrap it
Please leave the ribbon tied
Just hold the box close to your heart...
It's filled with love inside
