Neil Parmenter was president of his class, lettered in track and football, and was in the upper % of his class. Neil went on to earn a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa. He spent his professional life with Principal Financial Group as an actuary, being promoted to Senior Actuary in 1982. Neil was elected President of the Society of Actuaries in 2004.
Neil is involved with Little League Baseball and the AAU Junior Olympic Games. He serves on the Board of Directors for United States Baseball, which is a division of the United States Olympic Committee.
