North High Hall of Fame Inductee - 2002 Michael Richard Myers Class of June, 1967
Michael Richard Myers received an Associate Degree in Construction Technology at Iowa State University. Michael worked for CITCO as an engineering technician. He became a job supervisor in Omaha for Freeman Company Home Builders. Currently (2002) he is President of Midland Homes and Vice President of Regency Builders, Inc. By 1999, Midland/Regency had completed 657 homes and 200 apartment units. Some of Michael's honors and achievements include Chairman of the Developers' Council of the Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines, board members of the Home Builders Association, Home Builders Association's Members of the Year in 1998 and 1999. Mike has contributed to the Des Moines community by his involvement and membership in a wide variety of community projects, one of which was the redevelopment of Gray's Lake.
