North High Hall of Fame Inductee - 1996 Cecil Wayne Dunn Class of June, 1944
Cecil Dunn was involved in the banking industry for over fifty years. During the term of Governor Robert Ray, Mr. Dunn served as the Superintendent of Banking for the State of Iowa. After his term as Superintendent of Banking, he became the CEO of Security Savings Bank in Eagle Grove and Manchester, IA. Mr. Dunn was very active in the community affairs of Eagle Grove, IA, and was a generous booster of the University of Iowa. In 1994, at his 50-year reunion, Mr. Dunn proposed and worked hard to provide scholarship funds for North High seniors.
