North High Hall of Fame Inductee - 2005 Linda Susan Bowman Lane Class of 1967
Linda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Iowa and received a Masters of Science in School Administration, and a Specialist in Educational Leadership from Drake University. Linda has been involved in education as a teacher, Executive Director of Human Resources Development, and Chief Operating Officer of the Des Moines Public Schools. Linda is currently the Deputy Superintendent of the Des Moines Public Schools. Linda is very involved in the community through neighborhood associations, United Way, and the Corinthian Baptist Church. She was selected for a Fellowship, Broad Urban Superintendents Academy in 2003.
