While wrapping gifts at work for needy families, someone brought in this fanciful, medieval paper. The outlines of the figures were fused to typing paper twice, making a stiff backing for the detail to be added (built) on the top. Using cuticle scissors, component parts were cut out and added to the cardboard backing, the layers being separated by clear tub caulking. All edges were then treated with brown water color for softening. Edges pulled down to provide clear area for regal gold braid.
